The MAC Foundation Scholarship Fund expands access to higher education for high school seniors and undergraduate students who demonstrate resilience, determination, and financial need in the face of personal, academic, or economic challenges.

By investing in individuals with strong academic commitment, we eliminate financial barriers and fuel long-term economic mobility. Each scholarship awards $1,000 to assist with tuition, fees, and textbook expenses.

All selected scholarship recipients will be formally recognized and celebrated on stage at our premier annual MAC Foundation Gratitude Gala & Awards this November in Omaha!

Eligibility Criteria

Who can apply

To qualify for a MAC Foundation Academic Scholarship, applicants must meet the following baseline requirements:

Residency

Applicants must currently reside in Nebraska or Iowa, or be actively enrolled at an accredited educational institution located in either state.

Education

Applicants must be a high school senior planning to enroll in, or a current college student attending, an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.

Fields of Study

Applicants must be pursuing a major or minor in Accounting, Finance, Law, a STEM field, or Business, including Entrepreneurship, Management, or Marketing.

Academic Standing

Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent under another recognized grading system.

Need & Impact

Applicants must demonstrate financial need or significant personal or educational barriers, along with a strong commitment to leadership and community service.

How applications are evaluated

We utilize a structured, merit-and-need-based review framework to ensure equal opportunity

Online Portal

Submit the digital application, including a personal statement showcasing your academic aspirations and community impact.

Documentation

Upload supporting materials (official transcripts, letters of recommendation, and financial need verification).

Committee Review

Applications undergo blind evaluation by an independent selection committee composed of regional industry professionals.

Direct Disbursement

Awarded funds are issued directly to the recipient’s college or university financial aid office to cover educational costs.
